This casing was made of 2 brf cakes, 3 WBS cakes, cased 80/20 coir/verm. None of my dawgs other casings have done this. He got a very large, nice, fruitng of mature shrooms, while the other side of the casing has nice immature shrooms. (Same flush, first flush) The cakes were all crumbled in a large ziplock and mixed very well. It seems as if a cake grew outta the middle of the casing... Idea's anyone???

it looks as if the casing wasnt fully colonized before u birthed it..... i usually birth mine at first sight of Mycellum AFTER an inital patch case (sometimes im lazy and dont patch case)
after i birth it into my terrarium, the mycellum continues to colonize all the the casing material... you can still see the casing material, but there is white mycellum EVERYWHERE (not overlay as far as i know) a few days after 100% colonization, the pins just start comin like crazy....

Dawg Never fully colonized a casing before ? He usually uses fully colonized jars to make the casing. Are you speaking of overlay? I use a deep casing layer to prevent future pacthing, and have become accustomed to myc growth/pinsets.

Snoop,
When do you plan on adding your "tea" to Jars, Casing? You can invite major contams pulling that shit with casings, just make sure you use enough nutes during the PRE fruiting stage to supply the fruits with enough to grow.

did the larger mushrooms pin before the smaller ones or did all those pin around the same time?
uneven pinset, mycelium probly colonised and was ready to pin in one area b4 the other.

pit this is what i wanted to do. i want to rehydrate my manure with "tea" either straw or wbs "tea" not my casing just rehydrate my maunre with it. lets say i used straw "tea" would that give me the straw nutrients with out the straw? is this better than just water or worse. remind u no i aint putting this on a casing just rehydrate dry maunre with it.
