Thank you. Aw hell man, it was my pleasure. I enjoyed every second of it. Is there anybody that you sent a print out to grow out the print you sent them that you know of?

and yeah, I hope that this Tek will inspire people. It really was pretty easy to do for a comparative noob like myself to do. and apart from a couple of egg cartons that contamed (just thrown out into the woods, no problems) the rest has been easy!
woodlovers for the win!

after re-reading your tek i noticed you didnt have to do any cleaning from those wild prints?
what luck! i thought for sure you'd need to use agar to clean it up.

nope, don't currently have an agar set up I just did a few small pots in the hope that if at least one works out, I'll be able to build on that
in the end I think (so long ago now...) I might have lost one small jar, but can't be sure as I was doing lots of grain things with cubes, and might have it confused with that

I love seeing the different psilocybe species in action, those stubby lil' fuckers look downright delicious!!
I hope to experiment with woodlovers some day but alas I'm still getting the hang of grains.

Dudes. These prints from the Rockerfeller collection are very clean for being wild. I'v inoculated all kinds of mediums with just the spores from this collection and never caught one contamination.
Moral of the story: If you got any of these prints from the Rockerfeller Collection from either Rockerfeller, SS, or me fuckin' hit something up with them or something or you're like a pussy. Now's the time anyways to start your spawn for this species. Get you a culture started and colonize the grain through out the fall. Noc. up your woodchips/sawdust in the winter so they'll be colonized by spring then transfer them into an outdoor bed in the spring.

i need some new plates, but once i do i am going to try these and P subaeruginosa at the same time to compare, since i think they are very very similiar if not the same species.

Both are the same in that they are in the Psilocybe family and are cold weathered wood-lovers, but are two different types of mushroom characterized by shape and color of spore and fruit body and probably trip too.

Hey Ham,
It is good to see you rocking.
Would you believe, I finally got around to using the Cyanofriscosa print that you sent me what seems like a long time ago.
I find it to be a strong species. I have two blocks at 100% and consolidating. I will probably do my usual thing with the first few blocks of this species.....just see how one does cased in the GH and another in the a SGFC. Then, if this does not work I will make an outdoor bed, and try other subs, etc.
Take care,
JD

Thank you. I don't believe it though, lol. Yea, them shits (cyanofriscosas) are a very aggressive/strong colonizer indeed. They should work in your greenhouse(s) or SGFC's as long as you can get the temperature down to 40-50F to trigger these muggers to fruit.
