The mycelium is very nice looking and I bet the slug that ate your mushroom had a profound spiritual experience.

Hot shit mane. You can pick those whenever. I'd just wait a little bit longer for the caps to open a little bit wider. You plan on taking any prints?

just as a suggestion keeno. put all the pictures you have in the first post. since this is a TEK its easier to see how things look and work withouth having to search through the whole thread for the rest of the pictures.
just my 2c on a way to make your already wicked thread better.

haha can you imagine how connected to the universal truth you'd be if you noshed all those down? haha

so cheers for the input folks!
I'll defo update the original post with al the new pics in it over the next week or so, and I'm gonna start taking prints in the next couple of days too.
any preferences for print teks? I usually find my prints are a little damp with noticeable moisture on the foil... so how important is keeping them sealed away from air (my rooms not very sterile) could I add a shot glass full of damp rid into a large airtight box and print 10 - 15 at a time?
I'll go look for print teks now

as for print tecs are concerned. the best way i have found to print in a non sterile environment is to do them in a glove box with the glove holes filled with polyfill or tyvek. this allows for you to work in still air. once you have nice prints you can remove the caps from the foil and leave them to sit for an hour or 2 (Resealing the glove holes) to dry. then seal em up.

cheers Jimmy, I'll get onto that today

so don't wanna touch them... but I think I'll pop some paper under the more opened ones to see if they're dropping spores yet, then harvest a few

I always print on foil and always cover up the mushrooms with a glass or Tupperware to retain moisture. You can get at least 2 prints out a each cap. I wet a q tip and moisten the top of the cap when you go for the second or third print. If your house is too warm or dry you can print in the fridge.

This picture is nominated

It's good to see that Alan Rockefellers' prints are being used to cultivate this beautiful species.
