General Oyster information needed

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the site, and I had just bought a kilo of Oyster spawn. What I need to know now, is, since I am in a tropical country, is there special needs for such mushrooms?
What I have right now is coffee grounds, I also got some containers for bigger production once I get started. But what I have available as substrate, is... Bamboo leaves, corncobs, cracked corn. (Not that much though since most of it is for our food.) and compost. However sterilizing that might be a nightmare.
So, what I need to know is. How much spawn per container of coffee grounds, etc. How to properly sterilize. Plus possible general advice about growing. I've been looking up online, however aside from on here, it is a big hit or miss for good information.
Thanks you in advanced.

On the top right of the page there is a search feature. It'll be your best friend.
Making straw bags or "straw Logs" is probably the easiest way.
You have to pasteurize the straw and coffee grounds although it'll work just fine without coffee.

You might have some temperature issues. From what I've read, oysters prefer temps in the 60's to low 70's.

I have a underside of our house. It's kinda of cold, well. Compared to outside it.
I just am having problems with finding information. I find tidbits here and there, but as for an answer for everything I need to know, I'm kinda running a blank.
What do you suggest? Have you grown them?

I am in the process of setting up a greenhouse for oysters. Most of the information I've found on them has come from Paul Stamets' book "Growing Gourmet & Medicinal Mushrooms" and the forums at Myco-Tek.org
From what I've seen, the Shroomery tends to focus a lot more on the magic mushrooms, I've found very little information here regarding oyster cultivation. Many Shroomery members are also active on Myco-Tek though. If you check edibles section of that forum out, wildernessjunkie has a oyster growlog going, and I have a post in the same section about getting ready for an oyster grow that has gotten me a lot of help from the membership there. Larynx also has a lot of information on oysters posted there
