 just a lil help needed

my friends cat grows using cow, and horse poo , and straw the question is, when i spawn my bulk trays i dont know if it is better to mix it all up like ive been doing, or to do layer by layer(poo-spawn-poo-spawn...ect}which one is better???????????? also when using a martha stewart type grow closet, if my cat is using a ultrasonic would there need to be anymore air flow from another source say a small fan?? just wanted to know if anyone using a grow closet could tell me what problems they come up with? i also havent figured out how im going to controll the water that will build up on the floor because it has an ope bottom?????? please help thinks

Hi Realrasta,
I'm pretty sure you use poo-spawn-poo-spawn layers to promote faster and even colonization.
As for your grow setup, my friend has a similar mini greenhouse that is much like the one you are using. Everyone told him that was dripping down wouldnt be a problem, but as of a few days ago he noticed that the carpet below was mighty damp and even wet in some places!
He recommends putting some plastic down, or if you have about $40-$50 go get some linoleum, ply wood, and adhesive. You can construct a mock bathroom or kitchen floor in your closet right above the carpet! Some people recommend using a small container, or garbage bag taped to the bottom, but how the hell are you going to keep that shit clean!?! Remember bacteria loves little pools of water!
When it comes to air flow, my friend gets away with running the ultrasonic humidifier every 6 hours on low-medium(with a timer), and manually fanning (with the little plastic flap) 2-3 times a day.

so witch one is better? also does every one break there poo up real good or am i messing up by breaking i up into stains

I mix it and break the dung in small pieces.

(Most) ultrasonics have a small fan to drive the mist out of it, so there is a certain amount of air exchange also with them.

I?d say construct a small watertight tub at the bottom of it.
