its hard to diagnose problems on spawn jars when you didnt make them.

Wow if that's all you got from 6 weeks; I would call the sponsor and ask for a refund.  That's way stalled.  I don't even know if they will ever go too.

Yeah something is wrong but I'm not experienced enough to know what.

if you make your own jars its alot easier and cheaper in long run, and easier to diagnose because you know what procedures to describe that you took up to/during inoculation

I suppose it's only because I'm on here that it seems EVERY person who buys pre-sterilized kits has issues with them.

Considering the materials are designed to grow fungus quickly and also grow countless other less desirable life even more quickly, it's a wonder any of them work at all. No telling how long it's been since the jars were sterilized, nor what temperatures they endured while being tossed around on their way to your door.

The risk is just too damn high in my opinion

3cc's of multispore solution in a single jar is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. This probably screwed you over more than anything. I use less than 1cc in my jars.

This is why you do it yourself and don't trust premade substrates and their instructions.
