 Trip Report: Light 1 gram trip

The other night I ate 1 gram of my home grown Thailand Koh-Samui because I knew it wasn't smart to trip balls with my mom in the house and I wanted to see what 1 gram would do. After about a half hour of nothing, I found Rambo III on TV and began to watch that. About another half hour passed and I had a strange feeling in my stomach that it took me like 5 minutes to speculate might be coming from the shrooms I forgot I had eaten. I turned off the TV, thinking the climax combat scenes in Rambo III won't help just in case I had a strong trip, and I laid back. No visuals, but just a slightly offbeat feeling and a nice, strong body high. It was definitely an enjoyable experience, and I'm glad I didn't trip balls because my mom got up and talked to me for a minute about two hours later. I wasn't going to post this at first, but I had never had a small dose like that, and the all-purposeness of the great drug that is shrooms occurred to me. You can eat like a gram or two and get a nice drunk-like experience like that, or you can eat a shitload and get a completely different experience! What a gift from nature!

I forgot to mention I spent the last hour of my trip watching Sports Night on Comedy Central! Is that an awesome show or what? Anybody seen it?

I think there would be quite a difference between one or two grams, but small doses are quite enjoayable.
Never really cared for Sports NIght myself

Light doses are cool when you just want to chill. Sometimes I only want to trip enough for my thoughts to wander while still maintaining control.

Small dose + good weed = very powerful, visual stone. Probably my favorite recreational drug experience is to eat about .5-1 gram of mushrooms and smoke a few bowls of some good herbs.

Awesome thread. I had a great 2gram light trip tonigh, I mean there were a good 2-3 hours of tripping fun for everyone, but then I started coming down a bit, smoked a bowl and a jay, had another hour of fun, and then had a few beers, had another two hours of fun. I've been totaly gone for almost 9 hours today.

cool stories. me and a friend popped 1.5g tonight and tripped for about 3 hours out in the woods. just walked around, hung out by a lake on a bridge, talked about shit. low dose is definitely cool and relaxed.

I agree. After I did my 6.5 g ego-loss trip, I had a few 4-5 grams trips, because I thought I wanted really strong trips after that. They were a little uncomfortable, and really not very enjoyable trips, although of course good still came from them.
Anyway I found myself with a few friends that wanted to for the first time, so I took 2 grams, and man that put me back on track. I think that is all I will do for a while. Just need a break from the crazy mind fuck of 4 g's and up.

I did that one thing with the light trip and good weed. Me and my friend popped 1 gram of this apparently really strong mush. Just after the light body high started me and my friend started passing a bong and bowl for about 1 hr. It just makes things insane. I suggest doing this in a positive environment and have a good trip.

Yea, weed + light dose is amazing.
I munched 2.3 grams of P. Cubensis, and went out to the mall (not a problem, I go there high all the time) and I felt nothing. I just felt weak, hungry, but normal all at the same time. We were going to grab like 5 grams of good weed, which is why I munched, but the guy never showed up. Light trips are OK, but I only had a body buzz for about 1 hour. I only got one slight visual though, it happenedlike twice, and that was it. The floor on the bus was 2 colours, yellow and blue. The yellow looked like it started to move left, while the blue right, it was cool, but I wanted to see more.
So in other words, I find light shroom doses pointless without weed.

They're not pointless man. It's cool and relaxed, like houshroom said. For times when you just want to get a nice high but still not have to worry about having to talk to your mom, or you want your mind completely intact.

Everyone trips different, and the way I trip off a light dose is pointless....
I'd rather smoke bud, then take a light dose of shrooms...

Tolerance plays a factor and so does weight, ive aten 1.8 grams and gotten visuals while lookin at patterns.

Yep, light doses are always nice. Unfortunately, I've found myself many times peaking sooner than preferred and having wished I'd eaten more to begin with (knowing that dosing in the midst of an experience will not necessarily intensify it).. however, light doses are always welcome in my book and it's great to hear you enjoyed yourself 
(and yes, herbs are a must  )

Herb =  But that's just me, of course..
Sports Night was the single best show on TV for the two years it was on. If you like sports and intelligent television, pick up the DVDs - they're a great investment.

I find that a light dose helps me remain calm and AWARE during the onset of mushrooms and also helps me integrate the experience back down. also...sometimes I like the body high of pot and sometimes it just distracts and clouds my thoughts. Peace.
