Found a Lepiota while hunting for cubies
    #1680034 - 07/02/03 12:26 PM (13 years, 7 months ago)

When I first went to Thailand, one of the first mushrooms I found in a rice paddie was this Lepiota. IT had white gills so I know it was not Morgans's Lep[iota (green gills).
Not sure which species buit it was klinda pretty. Funny thing though is that it had a shrot stem. I have found this mushroom with 8 inch stems.

I'm amazed at how wide the cap is relative to the stem!! In cubie-world stem length is largely determined by available oxygen.
