This movie is fucking WONDERFUL. Its an animated movie about philosophy, dreaming, and the subcontious. It is a trip in and of itself, but to watch it while tripping would almost be too much. I highly recomend it. Its double cool for me cuz its set in austin, and i recognize many of the scenes

a damn good movie...one of my favorites, done by a bunch of kick ass artists. watching it while tripping was a very enlightning experience.

One of the artists came and talked at my school, before i saw the movie. Pretty interesting dude. He was talking about working with the director and writer Richard Lankaster or something. The same dude who made dazed and confused and slacker. Thats what really turned me on to it. Notice alot of the carachters from those movies. see if you can spot them all.
My grandma had her funeral at the place wher that old lady is painting. and theres lots of other places you'd recognize if you ever chilled in austin.

Im a dreamer. I love waking up from my dreams, it can be hella fun. I usually go rampaging gta3 style. I'm not demented or nothing, i just know im not really hurting anybody.
Remeber that look that that guy gave Willey whenever he tryed to check the lights. Every time i confront somebody to bieng a dream charachter they always kinda shrug and give me that half knowing, half skeptical look.
If you wana improve your dreaming recall and mabey lucid dream you should keep a dream journal, and ask yourself all the time throughout the day: Am i dreaming. If no then how can i tell the difference. One day you'll ask yourself that and be surprised to find the answer is yes.
pretty groovy

Jep, Waking Life is fucking wonderful! I am trying to get lucid for 2 weeks now. I do remember at least one dream every night and I got lucid one time(in 2weeks, few times in my whole life). Lucid dreaming is really cool!

Mud420, ever heard of Kazaa?

Amazing movie, though it is simply a checklist of all the topics discussed in an introductory philosophy class.  if you thought this movie was trippy, take Philosophy 101!

also, if you enjoyed the rotoscoping animation technique, give  American Pop a look.  It's out of print, but lots of videostores carry it.

If you only get audio you might be missing some codecs. Try looking for the "nimo codec". Install that, and then most movies should work in mediaplayer.
