Makeshift patch...(its comin through like a champ!)
    #1678031 - 07/01/03 10:49 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

So, I was sorting through my colonizing jars, and pulled one out that I was gonna throw away, becuase it had made very little progress for some time.
There was 4 patches of healthy myc in the jar, but none of these had expanded. So, rather than throw this away, I quickly dug a hole in a shady spot, ran out into my cow pasture, grabbed an old dried out patty, ran back to the hole with patty and jar. I sorted the colonized spots from the uncolonised vermic, then broke these 4 chunks of myc up, threw them in the hole, crumbled the dried cow pattie over them, threw some dirt and leaves on top of that, and watered it. So, now I'm wondering if I should expect anything, what do you folks think?
If your wondering why this seemed like a rushed process, its becuase the parents are expected to be back any time now, so I had to be swift.

If it does work it will take a long time. That means that the mycelium will have to endure more conditions due to its extended time frame and might fall casualty to some heavy raining or being dried out by the sun.

just a thought
