How long can colonized jars last in room temps?

Sorry for the double post, I posted a similar post in Adv. growing, but no one has answered. I was wondering how long mycelium can last in room temps (no access to refridgeration). Could my jars be fine for three months? I understand they get more prone to contams, etc... but I was wondering how long, on average, they survive.

They will likely start to fruit invitro if you leave them at room temperature for so long.

THey are in darkness.
Will they last?
They will be about 3 months old by the time I get to them.

they'll probably grow invitro like what Anno said. to delay this as much as possible, keep it in complete darkness.

If you want to halt mycelium growth, tape over the holes in the jar lids. No air exchange = no growth.

ive heard keeping colonized myc. in the fridge stunts growth, but beware contams.
