Coconut Fiber Eco Earth questions
    #16771817 - 09/01/12 03:44 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

Would Straight eco earth coconut fiber work as a casing or would it be better to mix half eco earth along with pasteurized horse manure for the most powerful substrate.  Or should they be used seperately for best results.  The eco earth is more sterile and retains moisture. Any help is appreciated ... PZ

I don't understand why your casing has so many nutrients. Do you mean bulk sub instead?

If your fruiting P.Cubensis, a casing layer really
isn't that beneficial. For a quick proven
casing, if you feel you need one. Get some Wax Paper,
crumple it into a ball. Open it back up and gently
lie over your substrate. Replace every 2 days or so
as it tends to get damp.
