Verm turning blue inside jar but mycelium eatin it?
    #1676654 - 07/01/03 12:43 PM (13 years, 9 months ago)

I have one jar that is in a group with the rest of them, it is about 90% colonized, just little itty bitty canyons of vermiculite left. But these little like verm area's seem to be like a blue tint to the vermiculite, and the jar also seems to have maybe extra water now or something in it? i can see water sometimes in it between the cake and glass. But the whiteness appears to be expanding and forming in all the empty holes, is this something to be worried about?

Make it 2 cakes them seem to have blue-tinted vermiculite...

sounds like bruising. quite normal for mycelium to do that. the extra liquid (slight yellow, or "jelly" like) just mycelium excreating waste, also normal. Like, don't sweat it man.
