I?d definitely make a waterproof compartment within the room, otherwise you?re running the risk of destroying the walls.

You might try several coats of a kitchen or bathroom type paint. I would assume this would work fine. You must make sure you paint it all; you wouldn?t want moisture soaking in, especially if it is drywall.

My home growing area is a 20x14 foot room partitioned in half. Here are some of the problems I've encountered and solutions that may help you.
I use two warm air humidifiers. It would not work in a small terrarium, but works well in my grow room. Regulating the temperature may be a problem and you'll need to experiment with exhaust fans and your home AC vent. To ensure clean air, the AC vent and exhaust fans were channeled through hepa filters.
Maintaining a high humidity was also an issue. I lined the walls, ceiling and floor with painters plastic sheeting. This helped to maintain proper humidity and keep my work area clean. Painers plastic is available at most home improvement stores.
One humidifier will not be enough. To raise rh levels in a room that size, you'll need two humidifiers. One humidifer on high was only able to bring the level up to 70% before the fans were triggered on to lower temperatures.
You'll also need to mop your area at least twice daily. To maintain a high humidity, my warm air humidifiers use almost 4 gallons a day. Four gallons pooling on the floor makes quite a mess.
Pros - Larger volumes possible. Can double as a steam room.
Cons - Messy. Uses lots of water. Requires multiple humidifiers. Hard to conceal. Inefficient. High maintenance.
Unless you have plans to cultivate large volumes, it would be wise to make use of a smaller terrarium. Grow rooms are not very practical for small crops and not worth the extra efforts.

I had the exact same size of grow room as you Ainasko...and pretty much ran into the same problems. We made a growroom/greenhouse out of painters plastic. The 2-3 mm kind. We used wood as a skeleton and then filled it with the plastic. We actually bought an air circulation system and humidistat and professional humidifier. The thing even came with a sprinkler system. You can check them out at http://www.fungiperfecti.com/. The best thing to do is have a drainage system. Anyways, this whole setup cost about $5,000. It was over a year ago, and we have already destroyed it. It was not safe, and was too big.

Holy smokes! My car was less than $2000.
My grow room cost only around $100.
Humidifer(s) $40 from Ebay Painters plastic 12 ft x 100 ft roll $20 Pvc frame $20 Timers $20 from Home Depot.
Because of its inconvenience, it's rarely used.

AFOAF uses a large closet (5X5X8 ft.) with the plastic lining idea, he just caulked the sides and corners so that the room was 100% waterproof. Air piped in through HEPA filters, 2 Ultrasonics running about 3.5 gal a day. The floor has been raised up an inch so that a piece of 1/2 in. PVC could be run to the center of the floor then out to the b-room. A simple drain (purchased at Wally World) was connected to the PVC then screwed into the raised floor with the plastic underneath it. Caulking was then applied to the rim so it too was 100% water proof. The ceiling has two 24in. growbulbs screwed into the ceiling on the outside of the plastic. These have a simple box built around them made of fiberglass. Most of the stuff was scavenged from the garage (exceptions being drain and ultrasonics...) Real cheap, not horrible maintenance, but also not for beginners... This man was my idol and mentor in the mycology field, his graduation and moving sucks lots of major a**...
