A wonderful place to sit and one of my regular areas.

One of my favorite hiking partners. Never a dull moment with Princess Leah!

Very cool pics. I've always wanted to climb a frozen waterfall but haven't had the chance.

Is a frozen waterfall stable enough to safely climb?

I don't live anywhere near where it would be safe. People actually do it though, I've seen articles written on it and safety and things like that. I won't be able to for a year at least now though.
I'm sure it's not the safest thing to do but that's kind of the appeal for me.

Yea, I have seen pictures from years back of people climbing the falls in the same park.
And some guy just climbed a frozen section of Niagra falls, first person ever to do it. Pretty intense being within feet of the running part of the falls.

That was fucking awesome! I would probably go for something WAY smaller though, climbing in general has been how I've overcome my fear of heights. Just watching that dude reach the top made me dizzy man.

I would love to be able to bring myself to skydive. I just know I'd bail at the last minute and have that walk of shame when the plane landed. I paid for my ex to skydive for his bday though and he loved it, said he would go every weekend if he could afford it.
I stayed on the ground and watched.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose..
Free climbing on a half frozen waterfall seems like a much more dangerous thing to do than jumping out of an airplane with a parachute attached to your back IMHO.

Yeah but I don't have to look behind me...if I can see the ground I'm out. I'd probably pass out in the middle of the free fall haha.
I prefer caves over anything, the air always feels so nice and everything is so warm and beautiful when you come back out, I'm really going to miss it this spring and summer.

That waterfall is awesome! I wouldn't want to be in the cold, though.

A true artist.
How do you get such perfect saturation on those landscape shots?

Thanks pal. You just gotta compromise the exposure. Your sky will always be too bright/ ground too dark. Try to equalize these extremes. Other than than shoot in RAW and edit it till it looks like it did the first time you saw it.
That's my method without HDR. I know how to HDR, but I just don't care to. Looks pretty, but too unnatural for my tastes.
