I always enjoy your bird photos! That last guy is extremely handsome. You may enjoy this:

Perhaps you would enjoy getting to know some of those people.

Those are some crisp shots DG. Those moths/butterflies are great!
A few from one of my favorite parks near back home. It has been a while since I have been able to go for a long hike and not see another soul, it was very refreshing.

And a few mushrooms I enjoyed last week, all found on the same day.

Hahaha cool dogs! I hope they don't make you throw that big ass branch for them though.
I wish my dog would swim, she's such a pansy when it comes to water. Can barely get her to go pee when it's raining out.

Thanks man. I process as needed. I aim for how I saw it usually, but I go a bit extreme sometimes, I see no reason why I can't treat it the same as a painter would a canvas. this is my art and I like to make it pretty.

Yes, us California folk are blessed with some amazing landscapes. The above post contains shots from 4 locations that are up to 400 miles from each other, and all unique habitats.

i think to assume that an unedited photo is more real is a falsehood, to really capture something most of the time some degree of post is necessary to make up for a lenses inherent mechanical shortcomings. your photos are amazing gnome!
after being out of the country and climbing bumming then working up in the middle of nowhere for the last year i finally got a bunch of pics loaded on my comp, once i get a handful of the best ones sorted a bit i'l share! got some good mountain pics from the cascades and himalaya

Glad we're on the same page rudraksha. The human eye naturally has a higher range in detail, light, and color intensity, compared to the best camera. It only makes sense to want other people to see it the way it really was.
Even beyond that, when people go out of their way for an HDR image or process in an unnatural way, what's the harm? Then it becomes more of an art than a photograph. Who is gonna knock you for making art?
I look forward to your photos. Those are such beautiful and exotic places. Also your Bambi signature is awesome. I just watched that about a month ago.
