I owe a lot of this to you Beethoven, you've helped me tremendously, especially with your book recommendations. I will certainly be in the greater NYC area in spring, I'll see you then! Always good to hear from you friend. Quote:

If you want to take your photos to a paid level, id suggest sending some in to NatGeo, discovery, pbs and other companies like those.
Id start a blog/portfolio, and get ads on there so you get paid everytime someone visits your site. I would also start a flickr and submit photos to all the nature groups to get recognized some more. Also instagram and tag all the nature accnts.
I appreciate this information so much. I'm doing everything you've said, then some. This is a good place for me to start, and I thank you for giving me that. I'd appreciate any further advice or tactics in the future, don't hold back on me. And be as critical as you want, at any point, I won't be offended.
I have a small update incoming shortly.

Sweet stuff DG. I like the filters a lot but I honestly haven't found much use for the 10x, although some shots look really badass with a shallow DOF. more artsy than anything else. Can't wait to see more.

I love the series of the lawn weeds!!!!!
Subject: How often do you pass by beauty without even realizing it?
Then the photos slowly pan in to reveal the amazing beauty, texture, color, and flower-like appearance of the miniscule weed!
Bravo, continue doing your damned thing!!!

I like those shots Domestic, can't wait to see what else you do with the filters.
Rev0, I especially like that sunset shot, the reflection really sets it off.
Beethoven, glad you liked that series I thought exactly what you were thinking, How delicate beauty surrounds us nearly all the time we just dont notice. I'm going to try some more of these, maybe make a few into .GIF. But sadly file size would be limited to 20mb and image quality will noticeably degrade when using .GIF format.

Mostly a Canon 60D with a 100mm EF macro and a wide-angle lens. Thank you for looking, I've been staring at your sig for at least 5 minutes.
