I went there to work in squatter cities (the second picture) for most of the last summer.
It's a really nice country with diverses landscapes, it doesnt look like it but most of the pictures were taken at at least 1800m above sea lvl.
Also, if you want to visit, i suggest you that you learn spanish, cause you will miss alot of the history of the place if you do not

Nice pics everybody! I forgot i had this one:
Cumberland Island, GA this was taken near Stafford Beach EDIT: Took a minute to go through everything and dig up the other ones I had on the computer
The first two were taken in CO, descending Pike's Peak The second two were taken last autumn in Pisgah National NC The third two were take yesterday while hiking Rough Ridge, one shows a view of Hawksbill and table Rock in the far distance, the other shows the back side of Grandfather Mountain.

It was snowing up top, but it was like 90 degrees at the bottom. That shit was wild.

hahaha yeah it's crazy for sure. I went with the BSA and admittedly we took the train up. But even that was crazy. Because at the bottom wherever we took off from was hot as balls (mid July), then it started getting colder... and colder... then there was snow, little fucking marmots running around all over, and the top of it was frigid.
We later hiked Mt. Baldy in NM which I believe it even higher, and was nothing short of amazing. Windy as all hell! I forgot I have pictures from that whole trip! I'm going to upload some.
Here's just a google image on the summit on Baldy: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6a/Philmont_Scout_Ranch_Baldy_Mountain_summit_ridge.jpg

Alright boys this is gonna be a big one! Gonna break this up into 2 parts, first being Colorado, second being New Mexico. All taken on a disposable camera, I fucking LOVE how these pics came out!
Colorado and the start of the trip:
 CO in general...mountainous, open, AMAZING.

 Garden of the Gods
In the train heading up Pike's Peak
aforementioned marmots, one of the coolest animals ever...
 On top of the world

dope ram inside the gift shop, no further explanation needed.
The view from the fucking dorm room I was staying in at University of CO at CO Springs. This alone is what made me fall in love with the state.
NEW MEXICO and the 10 day hiking trip:

NM country side. If I'm not mistaken, in the back of the first pic is Mt. Baldy.

Starting the hike up Mt. Baldy. getting close to the top everyone was freaking out. So little oxygen, you start acting a bit loopy. Half the kids were running ahead of us all, shirtless and yelling, and it was like 45 degrees... haha
Apparently I never took any pictures myself at the top of it, but the final ascent was fucking madness. Literally just a straight dash up a rocky hill that had to be 70-75 degrees straight up. To this day I have no idea how I made that. Here's a picture of the first descending trail to give some perspective on the angle I'm talking about:

Impressive! We unfortunately climbed Pike's Peak on a cloudy day so I have no good shots from the top.

Ah, still was an awesome experience I bet! So you climbed it yourself, no cart to the top? I actually checked the facts, Mt. Baldy in NM is only around 10k, whereas Pikes is about 14k. An impressive feat no doubt. The 10k almost killed me
