Great looking taxidermy, although I would rather see those owls alive and free in the wild.

/\ I like the frog pic a lot! Crazy eyes, would be so awesome to get a macro shot of something like that.

Thanks! Yeah I think those are from way back in the day when it was a logging area. I'm not sure though, in fact the area has history in the Revolutionary War so it's possible it's even older than the late 1800's-early 1900's. Can't find much info with a quick search but I've been curious there were two old buildings like that off the trail I found.
While we're posting owl pics lol (this isn't from the wild it was a bird sanctuary type place)

Excellent shots everyone, so much fun viewing this thread every day.
I took some random shots in the garden today, not much to see elsewhere. I've got some interesting plants this year.

Awesome pictures everyone! It looks like you're getting some good use with that new camera Tmethyl!
Here's some random photos from my hike the other day. I can't wait until it starts getting green.
Calvatia gigantea spores leftover from last year
I'm guessing this is Fomes fomentarius or tinder conk. Can anyone identify? It looked just like wood.
Lots of coyotes by me and some of the whitest scat I've ever seen!

Found this old cemetery. There were some graves from the civil war. Interesting
 Enjoy!

Beautiful cacti Timethyl. You know the species of the one in the 6th pic with the circular green base and purplish blooms coming off it? Wouldn't mind getting something like that for the ol' apartment, my cactus is looking very unhealthy lol I need a do over.
Claybuddy I've yet to find gravestones that old locally/publicly that's pretty cool. I occasionally browse Reddit and few times users have stumbled on abandoned cemeteries in woodlands or similarly wild areas. Things like that make me think I would never want to get buried. Who the fuck is going to care about my body in 150 years? Everyone I knew is long dead haha. I like the symmetry on that creek picture too.
Here are the oldest markers I found while at a cemetery a few weeks back...

Best, the species is Notocactus uebelmannianus.
Clay, love the bone and creek photographs. Really cool shots. And I love cemetary pics.
I've got some stuff to add, uploading now.

Awesome pictures everyone! That new camera sure takes a crisp shot tmethyl.
I have some awesome photos/videos of hundreds of frogs mating, a snake, some turtle pictures, and some cool kayak videos all on my gopro , but my computer is messed up so I cannot do anything with then right now. I need a new hard drive I believe so it will be a few days till I get anything up on here.

I almost forgot this, I hiked to this area, it felt like such a strange location. Never seen a habitat in such duality, Live oaks, and Palmettos, nothing else. Was quite strange, intriguing and beautiful.

Some sort of damsil fly?

So here is the story on my next set of pics, I did a side job over the week, rented a 100ft lift, and de-mossed some trees. Faced my fear of heights head on, and it wrecked me, but I managed to overcome it and had some fun. This job was on the Rainbow River, in Dunnellon FL. An epic and pristine waterway for sure.

Some shots from the lift

Crystal blue water in this river, and eel grass (makes it look green)

A few pics I took this afternoon. All found on my families property in West Virginia.
Some ass hole dumped these on part of my grandparents land that is bisected by a road. 10 foot long fluorescent light bulbs

This creek winds through some of our property across the main road, one section of the land it winds around is also included in the above pic. The part directly below the log is over 8 feet deep right there.

Some wildflowers that are growing next to the creek above.

Some flowers growing in our yard here. Can't remember the name of the last one, my cousin gave it to me last spring in exchange for a triple blooming day lily.

And lastly a dead poplar who's top half snapped off during a bad wind storm that the woodpecker is going to town on.

Should have my computer back and fixed tomorrow, but here are a couple I have taken with my phone recently.
Got my cacti outside finally, but brought then in today due to tornado warnings. And then some used romaine lettuce ends shooting in water growing again.

And I took this at work right before the tornado warnings went off, been raining pet hard for the past 7 hours now
