Nice snake pic. It looks like it might be a black racer. Very common on the east coast.

Thanks Gandalf.
Also, before I go to sleep I wanted to share this amazing pic I took this morning. It's an oil slick on asphalt. But the pattern that developed.. I've never seen before. Blew my mind. Sometimes art is in the strangest places.

My bad. The bed of flowers made me think you might work at one.
I really like the center pic of the last ones you posted. It looks like a perfect place to find a gator hiding in the little overhang.

I really like those two waterfall shots! The one with the green water looks like it would be pretty deep.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw it as well. That was one of the last stops on our last day, about 2.5 hour walk from it so I plan on biking out there when the weather is nice to see how deep it is, aka see if I can jump into it

Yea, I noticed that too.. I plan on moving it away from there if it is still there when i get down there. There is a old gravel road that literally run about 50 feet away from the top of the fall (you can see it in the picture) so it doesn't surprise me too much though.. Overall there weren't too many sore sights over the 60 miles we did, but things like that just take away from the beauty of it all.

i could just wear my gopro on all my hikes, then it really would be a virtual hike for ya
but really, I know what you mean. It is cool to see pictures from all over the US (don't think there have been many outside the US) and how different each place is.
and love the overgrown bridge shot tmethyl
