nice link suchen. you were all like "boosh!" let there be knowledge.
Sometimes searching in google for a mushroom is a good idea too.
just put "shroomery" at the end of the species name and you will have your link.

cubes seem to be doing fairly well.

Are those cubes confirmed? The cold must be giving those guys hell, they usually go from pin to mature in a few days and yours are growing pretty slow. Hopefully they make it to maturity for you, Cool stuff.

Their growing out of a BRF cake I inoculated with cubensis spores which makes me fairly confident they are cubensis, I checked on them today and they don't look like they are doing so hot, one of the small ones turned really dark and when I touched it it is soft and kinda yucky. The bigger ones still seem okay It wonder why they waiting til it got cold to fruit (just my fucking luck right...), hopefully they will come up again when it gets hotter.

Checked the stuntzii spot I found and they are loving the rain. Unfortunately, I found out that they are using chemical fertilizer on it

Hunting forum rule:
5. Do not make threads or posts discussing or reporting the weather. This includes complaining about the weather, asking if the current weather is "good for shrooms", or how long to wait after rain fall to go hunting. As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 1-10 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, and the time of year is correct then it is very likely that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.

Finally! Fall is here. Went to the PSMS Wild Mushroom Show yesterday to celebrate the start of the season. Had an awesome time as usual. I was quite suprised to see the amount of mushrooms they had on display considering it just started to rain thursday. Got a new knife, sweatshirt and various odds and ends from the vendors that were there. If you've never gone, I highly suggest checking it out. Its only $10 and totally worth it. Soo many specimens that youd normally not find. My favorite was the Cordyceps table. Cant go today cause of work, but I plan on checking some spots when I get off...
so, I went out last weds to my favorite spot on the eastside with my roommate. We got about 50 cyans. Came across quite a bit of ringers too. Went back on friday and got 15 more. Sadly, I didnt get any photos but ill have some to post soon. Havent found anything at my spots in seattle. Should see alot more this week though. Get out and start looking! Happy Hunting!!!
