Were they dried out when you found them?

Take a sporeprint and see if purplebrown. Do they bruise blue when handled?
If sporeprint is purplebrown and they bruise blue, you are very likely to have a psilocybe atleast. To be really shure on what they are you need a good micrscope and knowledge how to identify shrooms with it.

and that's just where the seed ticks went through my socks and got on one foot. There are also these giant quarter size mosquitos that don't care about repellent or clothes that got the rest of me and my hunting partners. On the third or fourth hunt I was atually by myself in the middle of the woods when I found these at sunset. You can tell how some of the pictures I needed flash because that's how fast it gets dark in the woods, and then I continued to hunt in the dark with my flashlight app which drained the rest of my battery and my phone died. Since it was too dark to navigate through the thick woods I ended up following a trail I know very well to a subdivision 5 miles away from mine (by road, much less by woods) and walked all the way home by road with these in my backpack. It was a nervous experience.. I can NOT afford to get caught right now with shrooms. Anyway here's the pics that I did take, didn't really get all of them and in the picture of the spore print (which is really large) that white stuff is invisible without the camera flash. It's raining right now finally so I'm expecting to find some more fruits.

What county are these finds in? I have all but given up. I promise I've hunted more than anyone to find these things. I'm talking multiple 8 hour days, hunting on lunch breaks, any chance I get.. I mean I enjoy shroom hunting and have found my fair share of oysters chanterelles and reishi, but I am just ready to give up on weilii.

Gwinnett.. but its the microclimate that you're looking for. pine tree (loblolly to be exact) and or sweetgum forests, either near the trees in the woods, or along the edges of the woods in the grass (where I would hunt)
Whenever I'm in the car and I see those grass "roads" that run through a forest for powerlines or other utility purposes I always imagine they are so perfect, the grass is well kept and all.
