good luck with your future grows man.
i learned my lesson: NEVER PROCRASTINATE! haha.
Hahaha, if you're like me, you may smoke a lot of the green. Digital timers and dates for everything.
I still procrastinate, but I know that if I hit about 1 week and my WBS jars aren't inoculated, I have to toss them and start again. So eventually with a deadline waving in your face, and timers beeping all around you, it forces you to get shit done.
Just write out a checklist, have a toke, and get 'er done.
yea, and seriouly, im a huge toke fan. hahaha!!
plus im really a proctastinator so i need to get all those shit done to get my mushies goin.. what the fuck! we shouldnt be proctastinating, it costs too much!!
hahaha! shit, all that bacteria and stuff..

Ya I'm bad for it too. Tokes and procrastinating, they just go together so nice.
One thing that helped me though, besides the timers, were the mindset that I'm totally in control of this, which is nicer than dealing with a boss, or co-workers. Now I just think of myself as a wizard, up in his tower, making his magic!
It sounds cheesy, but mindset can be key! Positive thoughts, change "fuck this is a ton of work" to "I'm tired but this is going to be a sweet payoff for all this work!"
Have to make it positive, and not soul crushingly dull and hopeless.

Dont cut corners when preparing spawn, or substrate.
Spawn, be sure to soak for 24 hours (actually I seen a post by RR recently that said around 4 hours is best, maybe he can verify?) then p.c. for o less than 90 minutes at 15 psi. Don't cut it short.
Same deal with the substrate, dump your items into your bucket, add some boiling water, stir with a long spoon or something, stir well, then dump the substrate into a solid bag, seal the bag, and put into a pan of water at 140f and put your meat thermometer into the middle of your substrate, making sure not to poke it all the way through the bag, wait until the center of the substrate reaches 140f and start 90 minute timer, not allowing it to go below 140f or above 170f.
I had an idea of sticking the bucket itself into my pc or my water bath to avoid the bag part all together, i'll have to see if it works.

Losing momentum is common, you'll regain it when you get some successes.
I chucked grain to grain for turbinado sugar LC at 2.5% it's much better in terms of successes. A bit more cost, but well worth it. Really all you need is a syringe, and a 5$ tube of silicone, if its even that pricey.
