Well, there are notable differences between species (cubes vs. azures for instance) but even in the various cube strains, I personally noticed some slight variations in trip. The most visual cube strain that I experienced was the Mazatapec. All the cubes I ever dosed all had visuals...but for whatever reason the Maz's visuals were the most brilliant and most pervading. Maz's body buzz was brilliant versus the PES Hawaiian body buzz which was a bit "achey" and not so clean feeling. Since I'm no mycologist I can't explain such varied experiences but just as weed strains (indica vs sativa) can cause different buzzes...I don't see why it's not possible amongst various strains of the same species...especially if you can cross-breed cubes like you can marijuana. In my own experience, I much prefer pure sativa lines or high sativa percentage indica/sativa cross breeds. Everyone has their own preference...
Oh, and as for the "loved up" feelings...don't take this the wrong way...but that comes from your heart...with or without the drugs. I always experienced an altruistic empathy on any strain or species of shroom I tried...but I'm also that way when sober.

Despite arguments to the contrary, I had severe anxiety on Thai Koh Sumai (sp?) thought no probs on Equadors or golden Teachers. Thought it might be me, but had the same reaction on other people,

every few weeks...lol, thats funny almost once a week we see this question.
-------------------- "I celebrate the Earth, my home, my mother, my grave, and as long as men are Man they must, if they would preserve the integrated being, do the same---[and preserve]--this rank casual hungry smelly sweaty lusting transitory body, my oozy pulpy liquid-bag-swollen body, bones, blood, hair glands, my bejeweled sex; I love and celebrate it all. never to let men forget that they are animals as much as gods---that is one thing I shall say."
