you really need to start reading the teks around here. Its going to be quite a bit tougher than caring for a potted planet.. And as far as the kits you'll be able to evaluate them once you undertand the cultivation process.

it's pretty damn easy, esp. if you use the PF Tek at http://fanaticus.com

save your money,
you can get everything you need for $30-40 US and avoid suspicious packages.
it's all at wal-mart or around your house already.

If you absolutely must get a kit, I would suggest getting one from the sporechicks as they are the most complete that I have heard of. Stick with the PF tek as it is probably the easiest. Read the tek several times and figure out what you are going to need and then get to walmart to get the stuff that you don't already have. Don't be afraid to ask any questions in here either because we have all been where you are before

If you want a grow kit to help with the learning curve, www.sporechicks.com has the finest, most complete kit that I know of available. Have not heard one negative about their kit or business practices. It runs $90.00.

You can build your own for about the same or a little less and then still have to get spore syringes. I started from scratch, but then kits weren't available in the old days.
