line of uncolonized....
    #1672348 - 06/29/03 11:00 PM (13 years, 5 months ago)

hello,
question 1
in one of my jars their is a little line (1-2cm wide x 1.5 inches long). the whole jar is colonized but this little part and its driving me nuts. its been 24 days since innoculation. i did the pf tek and used vermiculate/brf/water. the jars are flipped (so the bottom could colonize).

question 2
in some of the jars there are water droplets on the top of the jar(jar is flipped, as said above). is their anyway to rid of the droplets? Thank you almighty ones. LxA
p.s. incubator is at 87 F.

Lower the incubator to 82-84 degrees. The water is normal, it means there is moisture in the jars (which is a good thing).

1) birth it and scrape out any uncollonised substrate ((the line)).

2) use less mater next time.....or see what happens before you worry about it, mine seem to sweat a bit, without any problems.
