I forgot where I got these. They don't get me off, but I think they look really cool.
I imagine they just cartoonify a real picture and they throw in a crazy background. I'm going to take a stab at making a few of my own with some of my favorite pr0n. If they are any good I'll toss em up here.

Those women, and backgrounds, are all computer-generated/rendered....nice work on both too. Probably used Maya for the women...

i know exactly what the top software and hardware is capable of these days. I've seen the best CG work on SGI powered computers- at SGI.
but hmmm
that flou pic is v good if pure CG...
it seems that he manipulated the light to make much of it even possible... eeeenteresting

Too bad they're purely digital. Just goes to show you what awesome abilities man's mind can do both inside and outside the microchip. The first one the artist said it took several months to render to that point...and granted, a photograph is faster/easier...but that's not the point.

Drew Posada
He paints a picture of a photo with a wacom tablet and photoshop, and uses photoshop to do the backgrounds.
Pretty neat. That's what I thought it was before you guys suggested the digital art. Then I wasn't so sure until I checked. That is nuts- the 2nd one you posted absolutely looks like a photo manipulation.

Thats awesome to be able to completly fabricate a piece like that.
Photoshops are going to start looking so real that any ordinary picture on the net will be second guessed as being fake.

not completely.
I recognize some of those pictures, as based off real ones.
But that's not to say that guy's art isn't awesome.

well in this case, theoretically, this was possible years ago with the bitmap...
just that making it would take drawing pixel by pixel..
this isnt generated cg, but it's still quite nice
