**Upgrade Time** Terrarium decisions
    #1670550 - 06/29/03 01:46 AM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Hi
A Dirty Whore (ADW)is currently using an 18 litre rubbermaid container inside another
with water & fish tank heater. ADW is both incubating and casing in the same small container. THIS MUST END.
So ADW is going to get one large container. ADW is thinking of using  MAGASHES POD and the same tank heater up one end and having the small 18 litre to colonise jars in directly on top of the geolite & heater as to have the warmer area for colonisation.
Alternately  SHROOMGOD`S HUMIDIFYER TEK
With a coolmist humidifyer.
Please people tell ADW youre experiences as ADW will need to make the right decision as not to waste cash & time :frown: also other ideas and Images are more than welcome.
Thanks in advance for youre time and effort.

Is this what you do shirley?
Will the temperature be at optimum for both containers when doing that?

that's an old pic, but it worked as a setup: at the bottom is the incubator. on the top is the pinning tub - perlite and a bubbler kept it at 95%+. in between is a fruiting tub - a few extra degrees from sitting on the incubator helped to lower the humidity a few degrees (for cropping).

nothing advanced about this.

3 tubs - bottom one is a tub-in-tub incubator. middle contains casings (no perlite). top one has perlite, and is the most humid for pinning.

Yeah not much advanced but I was thinking there would be a larger population of people who could and would help over there. Considering I have only one (very helpfull) person sharing info so far.

if the rubbermaid containers are working for you, then just get two more, and another water heater. use one to incubate and another to grow in.
