Getting Ready To Can Veggies For The First Time

Tomorrow I'm gonna make a go of doing some canning. I've got a shit ton of tomatoes, a few cukes, a few beans and a few peppers. I'm not gonna try making any pasta or salsa this time, but I would like to do some seasoning and pickling. I have fresh basil, cilantro and dill too. Can you use fresh herbs to season canned goods? If so, what are some good things I could do with these herbs? I think I'll pickle the cukes, but just use water/their own juices for the other veggies.

For the beans you have to use a PC because they have low acidity, but for the tomatoes you can do a water bath. For the cucumbers I would made refrigerator pickles because they are easier.

I'm not too concerned about ease. I wanna use a PC for everything so I don't have to worry about shelf life.
How much fresh dill should I add per quart of pickles?
I'm gonna add a few basil leaves per quart of maters.
Anything I can do with the cilantro?

I've never used a PC for pickles. In refrigerator pickles I put about 2 tbls of dill. As for the cilantro I make salsa with verde roasted tomatillos, onions, jalapenos and garlic. Then cooked down with water and chopped cilantro added after I blend everything. Oh I bet a curry sauce would be nice with the cilantro too.
