Hey, this is for anybody who's used Moe's outdoor tek. How much would I get using a strain like Golden Teachers outside on a 3'x4' patch? Sorry if this has been asked, I ran a search but I dont have time to go through every post, I need a quick answer for a friend.

I talked to someone from the Cannabis Culture forum, because some of the people over there are into shrooms too. I asked one of the more experienced shroomers there. He told me to expect a lb of wet shrooms per square foot per flush. He says Golden Teachers will flush 4-5 times. So thats about 3-5 dry lbs right there. Sounds JUST fine to me.

The estimate was given to me on the premise that I'm using Moe's tek which will involve using a 3'x4' bed approximately 6" deep filled with cow dung and straw. The patch will be spawned with Golden Teachers via popcorn. So being 12 square feet per patch, I've been given an estimate of a wet lb per square foot per flush, that'll give about a lb per flush dry. I was told that Golden Teachers will flush about 4-5 times, thus giving 4-5 dry lbs, but I'm aiming lower than that, being my first time.

Oh sorry, I didnt answer the weight question. I'm not sure, I havent started the patch yet, just the spawn. I'll get back to you on that in a few days when I have a chance to get some dung from my neighbor.

to start an outdoor patch you dont need to spawn right? cant you just crumble up some old cakes and cover it with either dirt, or dung and straw?

yea, you can use old cakes. You'd be best to look up Moe's Outdoor Tek in the FAQ's as to how to set a patch up, but a used up cake will work.
