Nice bugs everyone 👏

On the subject of mantids...

Ive seen a couple really weird ones that imitate other types of insects.

This one’s pretty obvious from its head and front legs, but others are so convincing until you see them move: they move like only a mantis-like-thing does lol

Not sure who hasn’t seen this in the marketplace, but a member is selling Leaf Bug eggs.
They have a very interesting look to them.

Very cool, I’m not yet able to view the marketplace. I can only imagine the strange treasures that await me!
I guess they are beneficial insects for the garden?

Not really, actually they're leaf eaters so...
Anyways, Its probably not a good idea having them outside (without their specific requirement of temps and humidity, ofc) hahaha

But they have a really really cool looking.

Good eyes Allium&others
Sally D....yuuup
When I first spotted the dragonfly I initially thought it was dead..after trying to get a good angle for shot I saw it was infact still alive and very aware of me
It allowed me enough time to get these pics but then was trying to get a close up of the eyes which were also unbelievable and it decided it had had enough and took flight....
Was rad to see it so close up
The back of that head still amazes me đź‘˝
