Ick, maybe I'll move em inside soon.

Stormy weather battered the plant a bit, but they don't seem to care much

On this episode of mites gone wild:

So i noticed this layer of residue/dust/fungus?
Upon closer inspection, it felt rubbery...and i saw something move

Then i remembered i was rearing predatory mites
They had mass migrated out of the hatchery

Literally the only place left for a thrips now to lay eggs is directly in the mouth of a Neoseiulus cucumeris

Mantises have been showing up like crazy around my house the last few weeks.

Maybe that final push to eat as much as they can before winter.

I've never seen a green one here in the states. Always brown or grey.

That is some camouflage!

Nice shot
