You need a job to really tire you out. That was the oilfield and why i loved and hated it so much. Really doesnt give you too much time to think but only work hard and get really tired.

Giant wolf spider on one of my smartpots. I've been seeing tons of baby wolf spiders hanging around my collection of outside potted plants. Now I think I found the mom.

The label is 1" tall and about 1 5/8" long for a size reference. I was soaking and fertilizing my trichos, so that is why they are in standing water.

I see wolf spiders a lot, but never had an issue with them, some people claim they're aggressive, they look so cool and "wolfy".

I never bother wolf spiders. They always run away from most anything bigger than them. They aren't even remotely venomous either.

I didn't even know this one was on there. I moved my plants one by one into a few saucers and let them soak up water good for about 15 minutes each. She must have been hiding under this pot, cause I noticed her right as I was gonna move it back to the yard. She was trying to hide from me the whole time i was trying to take a pic.

Not quite on the plant, but here is a caterpillar starting a cocoon on
the trellis of one of my passion flower vines. I am really excited as
this is the first one to take up a home here!

I will make sure to update this as it progresses towards becoming a
beautiful butterfly or moth. If I had to guess, I would say it is a
Agraulis species of butterfly because of the fact that they feed solely on passion
flower vines
