Woah cool moth zed240! Kind of looks similar to Spilosoma glatignyi, but I'm no entymologist.

Honey Bee swarm. I took this picture before relocating them into a hive box to move to my bee yard.

I love bees, but they hate me,I would not step foot near that! I'm highly allergic to them, and nearly died one time from a single sting. That being said,I found a massive hive in a a rotten tree when I went out fishing last time, too bad you can't relocate it too,it's gotten to dangerous for me to fish there anymore

Sorry to hear you are allergic to them. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't go tend to my bees... I enjoy that almost as much as tending the garden... For those of you that aren't allergic - they say that bee stings are a great treatment for arthritis. There are actually people in my area that pay for this kind of treatments! They go to a guy in a couple towns over and will pay for him to get a few bees and hold them on them to get stung. IDK if this is true or not, but if it is, I can tell you that I will NEVER get arthritis! I've been stung more times than I can count.
Also, another lil tidbit. I'm sure some of you might have heard the old country wisdom suggesting putting chewing tobacco (that has been chewed) on the sting to help lessen the pain, and that does work. But for those of you that don't chew tobacco, if you ever get stung by a bee, or a wasp, or hornet, (probably fire ants and other stinging insects too) you can take some bleach and dab it right on where you got stung and it will IMMEDIATELY feel better!

Last year I somehow managed to step in a beehive at 4 am and got stung 30+ times in my left leg, it was a great experience! Seriously! I went to a 24 hour cvs to make sure I wasn't going to die or anything and the the lady said if you were allergic you'd be dead already then told me to go rub salt on it. The salt didn't really help, I'll have to remember your bleach tip for next time

There is a hive around here somewhere. I see bees all the time and not too long ago the front neighbors had one hive removed from somewhere on their property.

Here's a Huntsman spider on a T. scopulicola. The scop is 4 and a half inches in diameter, which should give you an indication of the spiders size.

Hey all I see these little buggers every once in a while on my peyote. They're quick as snot! But don't seem to be doing any damage to the plants, I think they like the flowers.
What are they?

The photo isn't too good, and all I can see is something that resembles those creepy facehuggers from the Alien movies. Brrr!

I was gonna speculate at some sort of mite, but it looks like it only has 6 legs. Can't make out much.
If they aren't hurting, why worry?

Ya maybe they're giving red spider mites some alien encounters!

I saved this little mantis from a spider web. I need him alive more than the million spiders taking up residence in my backyard. It's ridiculous out there.

It was tough to even get that pic, they don't stop for long. Im not real concerned about them, just wondering what they're doing on the plants. It would be nice if they had an appetite for spider mites
