I was wondering yes, thanks a lot! I actually know the species, but only when I found it in or around their burrows out in the open, never thought one would make it into the greenhouse and take residence there (I believe they stick to their territory, right?)

Damn, never seen one that big! I wouldve been glad to have him around the garden, tho.
-------------------- One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. 'Which road do I take?' she asked. 'Where do you want to go?' was his response. 'I don't know', Alice answered. 'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'

Thanks, and yeah,I reckon he is He is still there this morning. He also moves around a lot,and is hard to track. Hopefully he'll stay right where he is,as I enjoy his company. Boy,you know you have no social life whatsoever when your only friend is a spider

Hey kactus do you have a trustworthy link to African violet care? I've got about 4 myself that seem to be growing leaves out of control and produce very little flowers.

Are you using a high phosphorous fertiliser? They sell high P fertilisers specifically for African violets. If you're using a high nitrogen(N), then that may be the problem. I used to grow Gloxinia'a, similar to African violets.

They do indeed. I think I used to use a Schultes brand name fertiliser. It did well for cannabis too, this was before there was a thousand cannabis fertilisers on the market.

Was it made solely for African Violets? I used to use that African Violet food by miracle grow, and it worked well

Yeah, it was specifically for African violets. I think the NPK was something like: 0-22-0 from memory....

Not sure what ratio was on what I used, but it worked. I think, after I get home from work today,I'll feed mine,it's been a long time, and I've noticed that one has a slight yellow coloring.
