Yeah, I also thought they were a useless invader that needs to be killed (which it is), but its blossoms also make great jelly. I had never heard of it till my friend brought some over one day as a gift. It was almost like grape/apple jelly mix if I remember right.

I would love to try some, and I'm going to look into seeing how it's made.No plants are actually useless, this one is just an invader, and shouldn't be in this part of the Americas. It drowns out a lot of the native plants and trees, and is more useless here than of help.

This little guy has been posted on my damaged bridgesii that fell a few days ago... perhaps he is protecting it and helping it heal. I bring my cacti inside for the night in case it rains and he is still there this morning, knew he wouldn't wander away from it. Why are mantis's so attracted to cacti? I think they like to catch any bugs that try to invade the cacti. And I have a feeling there is something more going on too, on a spiritual level, why cacti seem to attract mantis's... but that's my opinion

That's a first. Never seen a bee on weed before. I thought they were wind pollinated.

Didn't realize until after that I really butchered the focus, but I still like this picture that I got of a colorful baby grasshopper on a cannabis plant.

That is a leafhopper, not a grasshopper, and they love to eat cannabis leaves.
