What part of the world are you in?  Looks like Leptoglossus zonatus to me, I don't think its L. occidentalis as SuperD suggested.

Not sure man. Yeah, it does have the same shape as a black widow. It was pretty tiny and you can see it better in the picture than you could in real life. Those beady little eyes.....

I moved my chili plants outdoors and bee was interested of those flowers. There are no native plants in bloom yet.
