Nope, this is not Basidiomycota, you were closer with your last guess.

Nope, this is not growing on the grass and that has larger conidia.

Okay, some more hints, this is a common species & relatively well known species, you will find stuff if you google its names including at least some of the old ones, & there are two fungi in these pictures, only the one being guessed produces conidia!  Come on, its not that hard. :smile2:

I'll be away from a computer for a while, so guess how as many times as you can/want.

Here's mine:

The first pic has 2.44 m divisions and the second has 1 m division, as for a hint...this was found on what I believe to be Leptochloa fascicularis.

Just bringing the pictures up to the current page.

I have no idea

Yeah, but Guess the Plant was inspired by Guess the Shroom, so it's really just one big circle.

Again, this is not growing on the plant nor does it cause spots/lesions on the plant, the plant is not directly involved.  And that can have multi septate conidia, this is only with 1 septate.

Take a close look at the first and third image, both give away this fungi's form.  The first is not a microscopic feature, the fungi is nearly microscopic itself!

I'm confused by "first is not a microscopic feature?" it is a microscopic image right? Just want someone to guess these diseasey plant spots so there will be mushrooms again

Let me rephrase, its not a microscopic feature of the mushroom, it is the mushroom.  Is that easier to understand? You're not trying to identify the diseased spots, they're important in a way though.

I thought Stopwhispering was going to get it there for a moment.

Edit:  Seriously, this is not as hard as it is being out to be, if someone can realize what's its growing on (Not the plant), you should be able to find it easily with google.

I'm confused.

So is it fungi growing on the fungi that's growing on the grass?

Yeah was more that if I had of read what I skimmed through looking for an answer first off I would have got it right a lot earlier.

Although I think a small part of me died trying to work it out, I learned a lot from that, thanks Byrain.
