You're going to want to create an incubator. The best way is to get a small/medium/large (whatever size fits your needs) igloo or cooler.

Buy a 100watt 8" fish tank heater, then find a jug that will fit that. Fill the jug up, crank the fish tank heater up until your temperature reads 86F in the cooler...there's your incubator.

^angryshroom is right.  :alert: Don't use a heating pad as it WILL dry it out.  :alert:
this type of  incubator works nicely.

Right on the money with the fish tank heater, it will really speed things up. Another piece of advice from me would be get a real good bag sealer (100$ or less) I cant tell you how many bags I f***ked up because I thought it was not needed and I could get by with rubber bands :frown:

Well, you want an impulse sealer so you can 100% seal the bag - twist ties, rubber bands, and tape are all inferior to a good impulse seal all the way across the top of the spawn bag.

I picked up an 8" for around $30 shipped on Ebay, but would probably get a 12" if I was doing it again. 8" will fit the large spawn bag - just barely.

Mycobags are pre-sterilized mixes and are already sealed. Now if you are making your own then yes you need a good sealer.

I have edited my post to change any instance of "mycobag" to "spawn bag" as I was using the wrong terminology.

Apologies for any inconvenience
