Great thread. I have felt very down about the human race lately because people in general treat me like shit, and have made me aware of this fact. I have a natural sort of frown on my face and people always judge to be an asshole, and then after they've gotten to know me a little bit (if that ever happens) they usually change their judgment

hang around long enough you realise people are fluid, change is constant, nobody is anything, it changes always
Ah nice1... words of wisdom there.
It took me years to realise this. I was on my own too long... but now I know the intimate connections between people... we have more in common than not, I think.
Or maybe not.
Anyways, we are all on our own journey. Hope that makes some sense.

You need to smile more. Smiling makes people happy, they then tend to smile back making you happy.
It may take a while, at first your weird new smile might make them uncomfortable, but whatever.
As far as the op's post, yeah prejudice, it's been a problem for some time now. Nothing really new there.

The fact that it's not new doesn't justify it.
A lot of times I do smile and they just look at me like I'm a creep, or give me a look like "What the fuck are you smiling about."
I'm not bitching about it but all I am saying is that OP is correct.

For whatever reason, I usually look angry too when I'm just like working or whatever. To most that take it as a sign of hostility, it can be kinda awkward, to those that can get past it, we usually end up fairly close. I think people realize I'm not evil when they see me looking grumpy and then smile at me anyway.. it's not like I won't smile back I like it when ANYONE smiles as long as it isn't a bad kinda smile. I remember times when I actually WOULD be mad and my mom would smile at me, like a fucking trick... my anger would vanish and then I'd be upset at the fact that she'd end up putting a smile on my face when I'm mad. I'm supposed to be mad dammit!

One that stands by you no matter what happens. They must understand those mistakes you make, as everyone does. They stil stand by you through times of trouble as well as though times of happiness. But most importantly they will help you move for the low cost of a few beers and a few slices of pizza, and even "one" time for free.
I have q few that I have known for over 20 years, they are actually more family than my actual family.
Trust.
