Does anybody have a reliable free site where I can get credit reports from the 3 big agencies. For some reason google isn't very helpful on this issue. So I come to you, the people, for a link and some words of wisdom.

Most "free" credit reporting agencies do in fact offer fredit credit reports. However, almost ALL of them enroll you in some sort of "credit monitoring" service in order to obtain it. They make money when you forget to cancel these services.
Thus, most places do offer "free" reports, you just absolutely have to be vigilant about calling and canceling within 30 days. Last time I used freecreditreport.com I called back (Literally) in 10 min. to cancel and was fine. That was about two years ago though...

https://www.annualcreditreport.com is the one for your free one. Just make sure you follow the directions each time you leave their site to go to each agency's site. They all have options where you have to say , no just give me the free report.

Creditkarma is good. Any of the other ones that offer your credit report for 1$ is a good choice... just print out all your stuff and call and cancel it b4 they charge you their montly fee(usually 2 weeks)

The one I provided the link for offers it for free as a service to consumers as mandated by law. If you read carefully while viewing your reports you can avoid paying anything. It's free. They just try to trick you into singing up for stuff. Just click the links that say no thanks I just want to view my free report.
