help with id

I found a mushroom in houston texas growing off of some cow dung.

gills are attached and are dark gray

cap is about 2 cm tall, stem is about 6 cm long

stem is thin and white, hollow, bruises are a dark gray/turquoise

cap is conical and is golden copper on the top

spore print turned out to be dark gray/black

I'm trying to get my digi camera working hopefully some pics soon, but if anyone can help me id appreciate it

well sounds like you might have a cope cyan cant really tell without pics if the print is black tho then its probly a panaelous. but from the description it could really be any of the pans. the copper top and bruising you describe lead me to cyan which is active tho. just dont eat it yet get some pics up and let one of the experts give you an id too. peace

I live in pearland which is about 15 minutes away from houston

It looks like a cyan to me, im almost sure, I looked up a picture on this web site and the pic/description matches it exactly

You can place shrooms on your scanner screen it is as good as a photograph and sonmetimes better.

scanner is broken also :frown:

, i'll have to buy another cord tomorrow for the digi

update: now thats its dried a little more bruises have turned to black
