the rice cooker tek...

Just a little idea i never saw used by anybody on this forum...
When i was growing, one year ago, i used plain white or brown rice for my little projects...
As i am a fan of japanese cook, i owned an automatic rice cooker (you can buy those useful items in asian stores or groceries). Here is how i used to proceed:
I mesured the amount of rice i needed for the number of jars i had and puted it in the cooker. The main thing is to choose the amount of water to have sticky rice (like we use for sushi), using the graduation inside the cooker. Cook. Open it, put the rice (hmm nice smell) in the jars, don't put water or anything just PC it...that's all. You'll notice that if you don't want to case it, it makes perfects cakes too. The main advantage is that you don't have to mesure the amount of water for each jar, you don't have to experiment or guessing it and waste substrate and time...and you can eat the rest ! Not a big tek, but a tip to simplifies the life :heartpump:

i want to add that rice is a very good substrate, due to the fact that(cooked with the rice cooker) it allows you to make mistakes with high humidity...it absorbs a lot !
