keep an eye on the bottom of the jars bro! if you got a puddle of water at the bottom under your cake, you may be doomed. That sux man,good luck.

I had something similar happen. A lot of water got into a jar when I boiling them. I had a bunch of spores, so I thought I would give it a try. The water made the ground rice swell a little, but it eventually shrank when the jar became colonized. It took twice as long to colonize, as the other jars, but produced the same.

I had a little water permeate my jars too. just a little more at the top. Well, the mycellium actually liked the water and spread feathery mycellium all over this water spot. I used pf spores. lookin great! Ic?KLe
