Flowhood Noise

How loud will a 12"x24" flowhood be when running in a small, 6'x6' room?
The blower is a 2-speed, which I'll use on low setting (270 cfm @.8 sp).
Thanks,

It'd be as loud as the blower on a furnace that small.
I'd be more concerned about how much heat you're going to put off using the blower in that small of a room.

I've never had a furnace or a blower of any kind before soooo ummmm....
Is there anything you can compare it to?
Also, the room has a double entry (with a HEPA blowing air out at floor level), FRP walls, and vinyl flooring- it's a dedicated lab. The only time I ever go in is when I'm clean and fully suited up, even if I'm just cleaning.
I clean weekly with bleach, etc., and wear a mask, etc....
Also, I can turn the flowhood on from the OUTSIDE of the room... so if it's already clean, I figured I can run the flowhood for 15-20 mins max b4 ever needing to come in at all, then I can enter and do my sterile work, and the air should be clean enough... rightttt?
So heat shouldn't be an issue if I keep my work to an hour or less I assume...
But thanks for bringing up another question- how hot do flowhoods usually make the room they're in? Assuming it's a constant 76 degrees.
thanks again

The noise won't be much of an issue. The heat may be. I'm not sure how much it'll produce, but it'll warm up the room a bit. Good idea on having the flowhood being able to be turned on outside the room. I'd run it for a 1/2 hour before use. Just to be sure. I can do a G2G in my SAB (1 jar to 10) in under 8 minutes. Total time for cleaning the SAB & jars then the G2G is around 15-20 minutes. I'm sure you won't be running the flowhood longer than an hour.

Yeah, the other side of the wall is my neighbor's master bedroom... but I hear them fucking every once in a while so they can put up with this
Also, I honestly can't see myself in there longer than 20 minutes at a time except maybe 1/10 times... which I might leave to weekend afternoons and turn the AC way low hours b4hand to prepare for my sweaty session haha..
Thanks a lot TL
