Would soy flour work as a substitute for BRF?
    #1659016 - 06/24/03 04:33 PM (20 years, 11 months ago)

A friend was wondering whether or not this would be an acceptable substitution with the PF tek. Any ideas?

I think it might work, but your better off just getting brown rice and grinding it yourself. If it's the first time your doing it, you shouldn't mess with the recipe too much.

Yeah, my friend did just start out, but he looked all over town and there is no brown rice flour to be had. He also doesn't have access to a grinder atm so he had thought this may work.

A blender would probably be sufficient.

Don't take my word on the soy, I'm just taking an educated guess, it might fail completely :frown:

The reason why beans dont work well because they turn to mush sometimes. But if you use soy flour, it should be fine. So long as there are no preservatives, it'll be good.

Hey totalqaos, shut your face. I've seen just a few of your posts, but none of them have had anything but criticism. And for your information, you can use coffee grounds. Chew on that.

Is it just me or is he looking to piss everybody and anybody off? I'm not trying to take shots at him in this post, I'm just curious if I'm the only one getting that impression.

Check that out if you want proof of coffee grows.
