she is planning on following the moe outdoor tek however there is not much info on amounts. she has 5 fully colonized 1/2 pint pf cakes (no flushes yet, totally fresh). with this amount of good PF cakes, plenty of ingredients, how big should she try to plant?
how long until some mushrooms pop up?

so she can make this thing 3ft by 4ft and 6 inches deep?
or should she go deeper?

anyone know of any other resources on outdoor tek..
btw, the temp is around 90 here now but she heard that is ok...

also, the cakes can be spread as sporadically as i want to cover as large of an area as i need?

crumble 1 in each corner and one in the middle...

You could do that. Only problem is, its a waste of cakes. You could easily spawn an entire bed using one cake. Just crumble a little bit in between each layer of the bed. It'll be fine.

Since you've got 5 cakes, you might as well spawn 5 beds. You've got the materials ...

i dont have room for 5 beds though. i am leaving and the cakes arent fruiting so i thought instead of tossin them i would outdoor them. thanks for the help...you are the man..
any other advice is helpful as this is my first

Okay, well ... you're putting them outdoors, right? And no room for 5 patches eh? What you can do is this. If you're gonna be gone for a week and you wanna use the cakes afterwards, you can throw em in the fridge. That should stall them until you get back. If not, I would do what you said earlier, one in each corner, one in the middle. Still though, use all those cakes, one per patch if you can. Find a nice spot in the woods under a tree or something. I think it'd be well worth it to find a little place for them.
