Again where is this riot before police fired rubber bullets and released an attack dog?
The news said it was a protest in regards to a controversial shooting.
Cops are clearly in the wrong on this.

Kids or no kids discretion was not used properly and no riot was occurring before this video was shot.

Riot doesnt come in until after the fact. The word protest was used to describe the small crowd on a FUCKING STREET CORNER.

I'm calling the protesters stupid, not defending the cops, learn the difference
thing is, the footage leading up to the rubber bullets doesn't matter. if the fire and riots stopped, then there's no further reason to use force. whats in the past is in the past. if the cops were firing at a man who was actively smashing a window it'd be a different story.
i agree kids shouldn't be brought to protests... but think about it, these people probably just heard commotion going on down the street and had their kids with them. i don't think they brought their children there to defend themselves against attacks. i think they walked outside to see what the fuck was going on and didn't want to leave their children alone in the house. seems pretty sensible especially if you weren't expecting to be fired upon.

We are never going to align opinions on this issue, I have seen you argue this same point over a 100 page thread and never get dizzy while talking in circles which is something I do not intend to do.

Why do I even open threads like this anymore?
I can predict the responses of half of these people by simply reading the news article.

Addressing him on police corruption is as futile as addressing the swine-like offenders themselves. it will be "justified"

Of course we are right. People like pris are tailored made for and align themselves tightly with the system. In the end it may be smart. But I think hes just the most epic troll there ever was. Truly yucking it up at his desk.
Straight loldonging it.

Earlier in the day, police in riot gear, fired rubber bullets into the crowd. Several protesters lifted their shirts to show large red welts on their torsos and backs. Residents told Jackson that police overreacted and created the disturbance'
This tells the story. Police overreaction came first, dumpster fire later.
no, that tells a distorted portion of the story
Quote:
The man who was shot has not been identified and was pronounced dead at 7 p.m., authorities said.
After the shooting, and while police were investigating the incident, Dunn said a group of people encircled the officers and began throwing things, including bottles and possibly rocks, at them.
Police used non-lethal rounds and pepper balls on the crowd, Dunn said, and at least one person was detained.
And who is Dunn again? Ohhhhh yeah, a police sgt. I'm sure that is accurate and not something he is saying under pressure to save his ass and keep his job.

Thats not the fucking point. Police have beaten people to within an inch of their life on so many occasions. Because that person doesnt die make it OK??????????

That works both ways.
They should have no exemption from "trollery "
yey we face jail time if we react as they do to "trolling".
Trusted servants is just another way of saying those exempt from the laws they enforce.

and if you troll the people long enough they will react. And in this case they most likely had a right to be pissed.

yeah, not that i saw any rioting going on in this video... but if an entire community is rioting over something like this it's probably in some way justified. government was designed to serve the people, not the other way around. it clearly isn't the case anymore if people are getting shut down for disagreeing with the gov.

did you not see the dog attack a guy sitting in a chair? unless the guy was aiming a sniper from that chair i doubt he was much of a threat to anyone. and those dogs have a tight grip. no doubt he probably had to get stitches... if he could afford them
