Free TV and Movies in an Easily digestible format

Hello, just wanted to post up on a project I've worked on for myself, and a project I've given to several friends as well on usb drives. It's pretty simple, it gives you the ability to stream any movie or tv-show you want without the hassle of going onto advertisement bombarded websites. It's really clean and easy to use once you get it all set up.
If you haven't heard of XBMC, you should definitely look into it. It essentially turns your computer into a media hub, an 'everything' box. The program itself does little except play media, however the real power is in it's customization uses. Nothing you do in XBMC cannot be done with other programs, however what XBMC does is allow you to open numerous programs while keeping everything very sleek looking and comfortable on the eyes.
Using XBMC as the ultimate frontend, we can in turn get it working with other frontend programs that work wonders on your home media experience. The idea here is to have a computer that is plugged directly into your tv using an HDMI cable or similar, and having it run everything you need without much need for a mouse or keyboard (unless you want to use them). Turning your computer into more of an entertainment center instead of something you are 5 inches from at all times.
You can use it for any media files really, however I'm going to cover free stuff. So we're talking about ways to get free movies, free tv shows, free games, and accessing them in the most seamless way possible.
First you need to download XBMC for your computer:
http://xbmc.org/download/
Pick your operating system and install. It's pretty simple.
Next, we want free movies. There are several free movie apps that work with xbmc, but my favorite by far is the 1channel.ch one. Some of you may be familiar with 1channel.ch, what this app does is allows you to access their entire database without ever looking at their ugly site. It gives you pictures for each movie or tv-show before even watching, and it makes everything really clean and effortless.
You can download the app here: http://www.putlocker.com/file/FF4DA4DDA674CBC7
To install, you need to open xbmc, go to settings > add-ons > get more > (click on the .. button on the top) .. > install from zip file, and install the file you just downloaded. Once loaded, go back to home > video > add-ons > get more > 1channel > install.
Once it's installed, you can access it from your video > add on menu, and it will give you the options to search for movies or tv-shows. Test it out. Always choose sockshare or putlocker vids as they are generally the fastest, however play with other hosts as well. Sometimes links are broken, however there is rarely a movie that is not available on one of the dozens of links it will give you.
Next, how about live TV? The power to choose any channel on cable and stream it live to your computer. For this we want the navi-x app for xbmc.
Download the latest version here: http://code.google.com/p/navi-x/downloads/list
Install in the same way you installed 1channel app. Once installed to your video folder, you can access it in the apps folder. If you want live TV, go to the main menu, Navi-x extreme folder > Live TV and it will list several channels that are available, all streaming live. I've watched comedy central, cartoon network, history channel, even espn without any issues. These links often get taken down, however there are always 10 more to fill their places. Play around with the program to find where the best lists are, but there are soooo many channels available it's ridiculous. Get's rid of the need to pay for cable in any sense. I watched a lot of the Euro Cup Soccer matches using this program, and I wouldn't have been able to watch them otherwise.
Next is Hyperspin. Hyperspin is an emulator frontend for video games. You can set it up how you like, though to be honest it's a bit confusing at first. But what comes of it is the cleanest gaming database you will ever feast your eyes on. Absolutely magical. I have mine set up with most sytems (NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, MAME, PS1, Some PS2, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, and many many PC games). For the systems I listed, I have every single game made for those systems set up to load right away, no issues. They are automatically loaded with controller inputs, so controllers work without having to tinker with settings after opening them. They automatically save the game files.
Hyperspin takes forever to set up, and is a constant work in progress if you are into gaming. However when all done, you have the sleekest gaming collection known to man, namely, every single game ever created. Their support covers every console system up to the current generation, and supports over 100,000 games. You can code it yourself if they are missing games from their database.
Here is a video of Hyperspin:
You can set up XBMC to load hyperspin as well.
Here is a video showing XBMC with Hyperspin. This video doesn't show the programs 1channel or navi-x, however look them up as well.
^^^WATCH THIS
Once complete, you not only have the most complete entertainment system on the planet, you have something that you can copy to any removable harddrive as well, and can gift to anyone with minimal effort. My set up is 1 TB and growing. Yours can be 100 MB and still be bomb. Just play with it. It's awesome.
One thing I forgot to mention is that you can set up how buttons work. I have mine setup to run off an xbox 360 controller even though I'm using a PC, however you can use a mouse + keyboard, or even a Bluetooth TV remote. Anything really. Just adds to the sleekness of it all.

Are you trying to watch a specific show through 1channel or are you trying to watch off of navi-x? I know that occasionally through navi-x the channels are down, or are only streaming audio for whatever reason. This is the case for a few channels, however not for all of them. Play around in the folders and with the search function in navi-x to find the best streams. The streams are not always up, however there are usually several versions of a given channel located in different folders. I save the channels to my bookmarks in the program when I find a secure one that has no lag issues.
If you are looking up a specific show in 1channel however, I do not know why you would get only audio. I haven't ran across that issue in 1channel. If I am wanting to watch a specific show I use 1 channel. If I want to watch a live sports game or event, that is where navi-x really shines since they have several channels in HD as well, especially during live stuff.

After going in and testing it I'm getting some of the errors too. Seems some of the sites must be down right now. Try the File Nuke links rather than the previously mentioned putlocker or sockshare ones. . What show are you trying to watch?
