dualism
    #1655393 - 06/23/03 05:07 AM (14 years, 9 months ago)

ok... call me square, but I just don't understand why dualism has such a bad rap. To me, it seems balancing. 1 is so lonely.. 2 is so nice and even. why not? you need contrast...

when used in context of human life, it simplifies reality beyond legitimate comprehension.

dualism = balance = good.

oversimplifying + stereotyping/categorizing = bad.

man i'm tired.  :smile:

i completely disagree...
i think it's a necessity
for music to have harmony.

and a poem's not a poem unless it rhymes.

so this is a poem, you see.

:wink:

j/k of course!

boredom + no sleep = ^^^^^^ :grin:

Did I say that music should be strictly disharmonic?  :shocked:

I was commenting on Malachi's question about why duality has such a bad rap. My point being that just because something is opposite from something else doesn't mean that it's any less valid or real. :wink:
